PACKAGING ENGINEER [jazykové kurzy]

Požadujeme:

- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, Industrial, or General Engineering, or similar field; 2-4 years manufacturing/design experience as Engineer; or the combination of education and experience.
- English skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience in Pro-Engineer (CREO), AutoCAD and SolidWorks Design software. Pro/Engineer 3D CAD modeling experience preferred. Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
- Ability to interact well within all levels of the organization. Is able to handle multiple assignments at once and communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
- Travel, including international travel, may be required.

Pracovní náplň:

- Works with customers, operations and design groups to determine best packaging options for new products.
- Works with external and internal customers to drive improvements to packaging of our products.
- Ensure compliance to customer packaging requirements to include review and update of customer PWO system.
- Manages work by developing plans and incorporating timelines.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and recommends cost improvement ideas through product, vendor, and design changes.
- Supports Procurement by working with suppliers to streamline inbound packaging to include the reduction of waste.
- Supports Quality Department by working with packaging suppliers to address quality issues related to materials.
- Interfaces with others in the organization and Caterpillar global packaging group to jointly determine customer needs and solutions.
- Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Analyzes all types of data and provides reports to others for continuous improvement.
- Researches and provides input for REACH/RoHS conformity.
- Supports Product Development by updating internal filter and filter component drawings and material specification.
- Works in a safe manner, following all safety policies and procedures while keeping in mind other’s safety as well.
- Reports any accidents and potentially unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to appropriate supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned
